Optimum Nannies and Homecare is a professional placement agency that has been providing services to families for more than 24 years. We are educated experienced human resources specialists who have worked in the recruitment industry in both the public and private sector. All applicants are interviewed in person using a professional human resources model. Behavior-based and situational interview questions are used to assess the applicant's knowledge of discipline, safety, time management, organization, creativity and communication. Applicants are also required to have current first aid and complete a criminal records check and a Drivers Abstract. A minimum of two references are checked.     Personal Placement worked !

    I am very fortunate to have found Janet and Optimum Nannies and Homecare. Janet found us our current nanny who has been with us since 2007. I was 8 months pregnant with a 3 year old running around when we decided it was time to get some help. By hiring Janet's agency, it took the stress off sifting through resumes, and endless interviewing. She met with us, found out exactly what our needs and then began searching for the perfect candidate. After her extensive search, Janet narrowed things down and sent us 3 ideal nannies to interview. From there, we found the perfect fit for our family. Janet also took care of all the reference and criminal checks, and helped us register/prepare the government paperwork necessary when you employ someone.     I have worked as a nanny for many many years and during this time, had several nanny jobs through Optimum Nannies. The families that I was placed with were professional families and were always good placements. I have dealt a few times with other agencies and found them not as professional and their placements not so good. I highly recommend Optimum Nannies and Homecare for placement for families and nannies.
