If you like to pay exoribant prices for mediocre chinese fair with over-service and continuous upselling and pressure to buy more, then Cynthias is for you. Compared to some of the laid back "low-end" restaurants in the downtown Toronto core, this restaurant pales. Although the service was good, it was over the top with a bit too much attention paid to our table. The food was served hot and was tasty but the prices were a bit on the outrageous side. Typical Chinese dishes where you would pay 8-10 bucks for, at Cynthias add 40 to 50 %, yet I am not quite sure why. If you like Chinese, Im sure you can do better than Cynthia's.
I have been to Cynthia's many times, and the food and atmosphere are simply great!
Very good chinese dining arround. Delicious food, well balanced. Excelant service, will visit again.
Good quality 'north american style' Cantonese Chinese food. I suggest staying with the staples (chow mein, won ton soup etc) as opposed to Szechuan style foods (e.g. hot and sour soup, General Tao's chicken). Service might be a bit too pretentious but it is attentive.
cute restaurant but lacked with intimacy since design is so open excellent food and nicely presented felt a tad rushed overall it was a fairly enjoyable dining experience
