Took my boyfriend for his birthday lunch on 01 Feb and ordered off the Winterlicious menu. Each course was perfectly presented and just right, portion-wise. When dessert came, they had put a candle on his plate along with "Joyeux Anniversaire" written in chocolate along the edge. A very nice touch! This restaurant is fantastic! You are in complete darkness, served by visually impaired staff...to basically give you the feeling of what it is like to be completely blind. The service was impeccable! Our server was very polite and always asked if we needed anything. The food is wonderful and fresh. Eating in complete darkness is really an experience on it's own. The pulled pork poutine was amazing and I recommend it to anyone that likes pulled pork and poutine on their own - once combined they become something spectacular. I thought paying over $10 for a poutine was a ripoff, but wait until you see how much food you get - its amazing having a 2nd dinner later on at 11pm from my doggie bag. So hot and saucy, you will love every bite. Service staff was good, no complaints. The stool chair seating was inadequate, and should be replaced with booths or proper chairs.
