I make my living by working as a renovator. I have arthritis, which is probably job-related, or due to aging. Recently I cannot work because of my swollen wrist. The bone above my right wrist was almost doubled in size. This caused me great pain, especially when I tried to turn my wrist. Last month I went to see a doctor, and was prescribed Indomethacin (50 mg capsules, 3 times per day, for 3 weeks). The medication did provide me some relief, but it had side effects (mainly stomach upset and nausea). Besides, most of the swollenness was still there. Last Monday I decided to seek acupuncture as an alternative treatment. I found the name Dr. Ivy Pang from Google Search. I have received 4 acupuncture treatments up till now (each session lasting about 80 minutes). So very glad that there are obvious great improvements – in fact I can now turn my wrist freely. I went to this Dawson Pharmacy for the 3rd dose. When approached the store I was greeted by 2 cheerful staffs who were very polite and helpful. After telling the staffs of my intention, I was led to a room for my vaccine. It took about a few seconds and I actually felt nothing uncomfortable . The place was clean and well organized. The instruction classes were eye opening and very beneficial (at 47 I finally learned why I feel the way I do & how to change what isn't working). NVC is s powerful tool to have.
