Ristorante Beatrice

1504, rue Sherbrooke O, Montréal, QC H3G 1L3

Known for their fine Italian cuisine, it comes as no surprise that their dessert menu is also a crowd-pleaser. There are loads of savoury dessert options to choose from but one of the most popular is the Budino di Nocciola, which is a hazelnut pudding. Restaurant-goers are always satisfied after a meal here, but the decadent dessert menu is the perfect way to top off the evening.

Le Bremner

Chuck Hughes’s menu at this fine dining establishment in the Old Port is well known in and around the city. And the dessert menu is just as popular. If you’re looking to indulge in a plate of the fluffiest pancakes you’ve ever laid eyes on, this is the place to go. Perfectly cooked, sweet, and delicious – these pancakes are to die for.

Leméac

There is lots to enjoy at this chic French bistro, but the Pain Perdu on the dessert menu is definitely at the top of the list. The flavourful French toast, topped with dulce de leche ice cream and maple caramel sauce, created by pastry chef David Courteau, is a mouth-watering dessert you won’t forget, or regret – so long as you ignore the calorie count.

C'Cho-Colat

1255 Bishop, Montreal, QC H3G 2E2

This is another place where you’ll want to forget about calorie counting altogether. If you’re willing to indulge, you’ve come to the right place. With a variety of extravagant desserts, it may be tough to pick just one. But if you have to, go for the Golden Ticket Mason Jar milkshake. It’s described as a “milky chocolate gelato river,” topped with M&Ms, and an explosion of candies and jujubes. It’s basically a sugar-lover’s dream in a jar.

Cuisine De Tartes Rustique Inc

4615, rue Notre-Dame O, Montréal, QC H4C 1S5

If pie is your dessert of choice, then a visit to this Notre-Dame bakery is a must. Their unbeatable pies are reminiscent of a country pie stand, serving up flaky deliciousness. Choose from unique, savoury pies like almond cream with vanilla bean and poached pears, or classic pies like key lime, lemon meringue, or apple. You can even opt for mini pies and other dessert ideas for weddings and other events.

Trou de Beignes

Doughnuts are taken to a whole other level at this Little Italy shop. The menu includes freshly baked delicacies like Pineapple and Coconut, S’Mores, and Cookie Dough. You can also choose from a variety of vegan-friendly doughnuts. Recommendation: Give the Peché Mortel doughnut a try. Made with beer, coffee glaze, roasted hazelnuts and dark chocolate, you’ve definitely never tasted anything like it!
