Terrible tasting food. I am peruvian and the dishes served at the Fogon are not the real thing. Grease and tough sliver of meat with frozen french fries, they call lomo saltado. Yuck! Is over prized and potions are small. The ceviche is OK but is not sea bass, its tilapia. I was embarrased to take my canadian friend there. Service was OK. Will never go again and do not recommend to anyone to eat there.
Great family restaurant, one of the few places I feel comfortable bringing my small children. It's not fast-food so I usually pack a couple toys and they watch clips on my iPhone while we wait, which isn't long as the kids get served ASAP. The soft bread is usually provided quickly to occupy the kids. Also recommend the strawberry and milk smoothies, they are awesome. Honest to goodness South American soul food. EVERYTHING on the menu is so tasty. If you love seafood, these cooks really know how to bring out the flavor, and never overcook it.
Relatively cheap and tasty.
excellent food, always fresh to order. huge portions, a great value for your $$$. Relaxed atmosphere, no rush. Service is friendy, and very attentive. best peruvian in toronto! would recommend to all.
Food was awesome, just like it would be in Peru. Service and atmosphere was great!
went for fathers day, the family enjoyed it. Very authentic Peruvian food very tasty and great. Service was great and the pisco sours are amazing a few of those and you'll be dancing to the salsa in the background.

St. Clair West might be known for its Italian trattorias, but this authentic Peruvian eatery serves up an array of fresh fish, meat and seafood dishes that’ll give your taste buds a tour of South American cuisine. We suggest pairing the classically made pisco sours with the Arroz con Mariscos — a fragrant Peruvian paella made with rice, seafood, turmeric, coriander and white wine.
